I had called and talked to a nice lady about our stay, and she was very informative and answered all my questions.

The Retreat on the Canal house was fabulous! Our family and dogs enjoyed our stay there. It was very clean, lots and lots of towels, lots of kitchen cookware, great hot tub. There was plenty of room in the house for all of us. We come to Ocean Shores to go clamming every year with family and this was the best house we have rented, and I will look forward to renting this house again.

The house was perfect, everyone loved it so much that we are already planning other stays there. Plenty of space for all. And the perfect walk to the beach as well.

This cute pet friendly condo is perfect. The location is near the beach and close to fun little restaurants. You can see and hear the ocean from the deck. Its a short walk or drive to the beach access road. There are leashes, treats, a bed, dishes and blankets for your pets. They truly want your pet to be taken care of! The beds are super comfortable and it is well furnished. Highly recommend staying here.

The property could benefit from a wine key and cheese grater. Otherwise very well stocked.

The house was huge. Nicely laid out for big families or multiple couples. Fully fenced back and side yards. Our dogs very much enjoyed it. The new appliances were great as well as the kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook meals. The house was very quiet and we heard no noise from the road. The fire station is across the street but we didn't hear them at all. There is plenty of parking. There were so many extras like playpen and chairs, a claim digger etc. Although we didn't use the dock, I wished I would have brought my kayak! The king bed downstairs was very comfortable! My only suggestion is the house being so large, it's hard to heat, close all the doors to keep heat in and turn on the fan to circulate the heat downwards.

Only issue was inability to pin down early checkin or late checkout possibilities so I could plan around it. Also the kitchen was missing a pizza cutter.

Perfect spot for a beach getaway for our family.Love just staying at the house, watching the waves from the huge sliders, and playing on the beach. It's great that the coffee shop and market is only a minute away.

I had a question the day before going to the rental so I called the rental office and got my question answered quickly and easy. Very nice folks.

Suggestion... Have a reusable generic coffee Kcup available for those who bring their own coffee... I think the other two units we stayed in had this.... but the BIG cabin did not...

I booked my reservation online and did not need to interact with anyone either as part of the process to book the cottage or during our stay.

The cottage we stayed in was lovely. It suited our needs very well and was conveniently located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It was clean and well kept. Since it was a block off the main road, there was very little traffic noise. We did not cook while we were there, so I don't know much about what was in the kitchen, other than there was plenty of glassware, plates and silverware. The cottage could easily accommodate up to six people. We would definitely stay there again.

We love this house. We have rented it twice before. When we walked into the house, I was so excited to see the King Tide brought the water to the house. Just sitting and watching the tide coming in and going out was incredible. Best weekend ever. My Happy Place.
